Expertise

Why Military Rounds Require a Specialist

Military round canopy systems operate under different engineering principles, packing procedures, and regulatory frameworks than modern sport equipment. Many civilian riggers have never touched a T-10 or MC1-1. At Orange Diamond Rigging LLC, military round systems are a core competency — not an afterthought.

We service active military surplus, collector rigs, static-line training systems, and emergency round parachutes. Every system receives the same meticulous inspection and documentation standard we apply to every rig that leaves our table.

Important

A Note on Airworthiness

Not all military surplus parachute equipment is airworthy. Age, storage conditions, UV exposure, and improper handling can render a canopy unsafe for use. We will always give you an honest assessment — if a system is not safe to jump, we will tell you. We do not repack equipment we are not confident in.
